Summer is wrapping up and pumpkin spice season is in full swing, which can only mean one thing: seasonal farmer’s markets are making a comeback. Get ready for fresh produce, jams, and other artisanal goods at oh-so-many locations around town.
While many of our local markets operate year-round, several pick back up in late September and early October. We’ve compiled a comprehensive list of area markets to get you in the mood for oversized sweaters and comfy boots—even though, let’s be honest, we’ll all be sporting tank tops and sunhats well into November.

Operates every Saturday, beginning October 1 from 9 a.m-2 p.m
Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Park, 2523 Cocoanut Ave., Sarasota
Operates year-round every Saturday and on the first and third Fridays of the month from 10 a.m-5 p.m.
210 N. Cattlemen Road, Sarasota
Operates year-round every third Thursday of the month from 7 p.m-10 p.m. in UTC’s West District.
