Max Armstrong and Mike Pearson are at the desk this week and start off with a conversation with FMC’s Lisa Homer about their recent efforts around mental health in the agriculture community. Next, Max introduces the latest from the BASF Plan Smart Grow Smart series. Mike Pearson talks markets with Clayton Pope of Clayton Pope Commodities to talk about the USDA WASDE report this week that showed that soybeans were going to be down, surprising the markets. They also get into international trade and the effect of the high U.S. dollar. Finally, they turn to wheat struggles.

Clayton Pope of Clayton Pope Commodities rejoins Mike to take a look at the crude market and affects on the ethanol market. In the Colby Ag Tech segment Chad Colby is reviewing some new rechargeable tools available to farmers, including the new double-battery blower from Milwaukee.
Part 3
Max and Mike discuss the problem of lower river levels on the Mississippi and its affect on basis and Max talks about his time working on the Mississippi.
Part 4
Max talks with Howard Buffett about his efforts in Ukraine to aid farmers. Agricultural Meteorologist Greg Soulje looks at the weather for the week ahead.

Agricultural Meteorologist Greg Soulje returns to take a look at the long-range weather picture.
Part 6
In Max’s Tractor Shed, Max introduces a set of red auger tractors, no green ones this week. In the FFA Chapter Tribute Mike talks with Emma Kuball, Minnesota State FFA President. Emma is excited about the national convention coming up and chapter visits. She’s studying ag education and plans to be an ag educator.
Part 7
Max talks more with Howard Buffett about the potential to gather evidence of war crimes committed by Russia against agriculture interests.
