TRENDING:
Route 222 southbound was closed for about two hours Wednesday morning at the Schaeffer Road roundabout in Maidencreek Township after a tractor-trailer flipped while navigating the newest roundabout.
The accident happened about 8:30 a.m. when the driver of the rig, which was hauling dry cement, entered the roundabout at too fast a speed, causing the rig to flip onto the passenger side, Northern Berks Regional police said.
No one was injured.
The southbound lanes reopened shortly before 10:30 a.m.
