An online event scheduled for later this week will provide information for animal rescue groups about federal and state regulations on farm animals.
Penn State Extension is offering a free webinar on Tuesday from noon to 1 p.m. titled “Pennsylvania Farm Animal Regulations for Rescue Groups and Other Organizations”.
Webinar participants will hear from representatives of the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service about animal disease traceability, particularly as it impacts farm animals like sheep and goats.
Although there is no cost to view this presentation, pre-registration is requested by calling or visiting the Penn State Extension website.
