How To Farm In Stranded Deep – TheGamer

The only guide you need for farming in Stranded Deep.
Stranded Deep is an extremely difficult survival game, and the further you progress, the more you will need to farm. Since this is a mechanic that needs to be dealt with in the late game, farming should be done after you are a bit more advanced due to the materials needed.

For example, you will need Corrugated Scrap or Plank Scrap to craft your farm plots, and also you will need a plentiful supply of drinkable water to keep these farming plots watered. Farming will require a fair amount of effort to succeed, and here's everything you need to know about it.
To create your farm plots, first of all, you need to craft the Crude Hoe, then press the "C" key, and you will see the three different farm plots available in the game. To craft this item you will need one Lashing, one Stick, and one Stone Tool. The only difference between these three different farming plots is the amount of water they can hold.
While Plank Farming Plots and Corrugated Farming Plots can have eight water levels, Wood Farming Plots can only have four water levels, which means that if you make a Wood Farming Plot you will need to water it more often.
Within 24 in-game hours, the water in your plots is absorbed and if it doesn't rain or if you don't water, your plants will die, and you can't water that plot without clearing the plant with Crude Hoe. However, if it rains, your plot will fill up with water again and your dead plant will come back to life.
In Stranded Deep, you can heal your negative status with plants. Negative statuses such as Poisoning, Bleeding, and Sunstroke can be cured with herbs. In addition, once you find and harvest these plants, they don't grow back, so you may want to farm some of these plants.
Ajuga Plant allows you to make a Breath Boost drink that will double your breathing time underwater. This drink increases your standard underwater breath hold time from 30 seconds to 60, and you need one Ajuga Plant, and one Coconut Flask to craft it.
It is an extremely easy plant to find and spot because it is a purple plant with green leaves and can be easily detected among the grasses. It should be noted that the Ajuga Plant does not grow back, but you can grow it in your farming plots.
Aloe Vera is an extremely important plant because it allows you to make Aloe Salve, a drink that protects you from Sunstroke negative status. Aloe Salve protects you from the sun for 12 game hours and requires two Aloe Vera and one Coconut Flask to craft.
Again, like other plants, Aloe Vera does not grow back after it has been taken, but it can be grown in farming plots.
This plant is used in the Medical Gauze item for treating bleeding negative status. This plant is not found on every island in Stranded Deep, yet it is easy to spot as it is shaped like a small sapling and is dark green, making it easy to recognize.
Kura Fruit will not grow again once it is taken, but you can grow it as much as you want in your farming plots.
Yucca Fruit is your source of Fibrous Leaves in the game, and this plant allows you to make the Lashing item, which is very common in the game. Also needed to make drinking water for Water Still, and can also be used for burning.
It would be extremely wise to farm this plant, which provides you with one of your basic resources, instead of constantly going to different islands.
The Potato Plant can be found on many islands, including the starting island, but spotting it can be tricky as it is small and close to the color of the surrounding vegetation. Potatoes do not grow back after being harvested, can be grown in farming plots, and are an extremely good source of food.
You can build your own raft in Stranded Deep and when you connect the Boat Motor item to this raft, you can move this raft in the water. This Boat Motor will need gasoline, and it is possible to meet this need from potatoes as renewable energy.
We can say that this plant called Wavulavula is only for decoration at the moment because it has no use in the game yet, in short, it is useless at the moment. Once harvested from the ground, it does not grow back and has ivy-like leaves and purple flowers.
Quawawa Fruit is also an extremely important plant because it is another herb you need to make the Medical Gauze item to stop the bleeding effect.
These fruits rot within 24 game hours, and they cannot be found on every island, and look very similar to pears. They will not grow back if harvested, but can be regrown in farming plots just like any other plant.
There is currently no way to preserve these fruits, which spoil within 24 game hours of harvest, but as long as you keep them in your farming plot, they will not rot.
Quwawa Fruit is the rarest plant in the game and only spawns on a few islands. If you consume this fruit rotten, your character will start vomiting, and you may experience dehydration.
The Pipi plant is also an essential plant to farm because it allows you to make a mixture called Shark Repellent, which keeps sharks away from you, and Antidotes to cure poisoning.
Pipi plant is an extremely common plant, found on many islands, but can be extremely difficult to spot due to its light green color close to the ground.
Spoiled plants can be planted.
The reason we recommend farming in Stranded Deep in the late game is that you need a lot of materials. For example, you will need many Water Stills to keep five to ten farming plots constantly watered, and you will need many materials for the farming plots. You can also produce drinking water by placing a couple of Water Still near your farming plots, and once the Water Still is filled with drinkable water, you can get water from them with items such as Clay Water Bottles, Leather Waterskins, and Coconut Flasks to irrigate the farming plots.
To water your farming plot in Stranded Deep, you need to go to a Water Still with a watering tool and press the "E" key. Then you can go to your farming plot and press "E" again to water your farming plot.
You need to keep your farming plots watered when it is not raining, otherwise, your harvest will die. Stranded Deep has three different watering tools that you can use to water your farming plots and keep them watered so that your harvest doesn't get dry.
The Coconut Flask is the simplest and most impractical of these tools, it can only hold one water unit. The Coconut Flask is mostly used for making Antidotes, Breath Boosts, Shark Repellent, Medical Gauze, and Aloe Salve. To make Coconut Flask you need one Lashing and one Coconut.
We can say that the Leather Waterskin is the next level up from Coconut Flask, and it can hold three units of water and is much more convenient and faster than the Coconut Flask. You need one Stick, two pieces of Leather, and a Tanning Rack to make it.
The Clay Water Bottle is the best and most difficult irrigation tool to craft, usually only used for watering farming plots rather than for drinking. To craft it you need one Coconut Flask and one Leather Waterskin.
