Harvestella: Best Crops To Grow – GameRant

Among the numerous crops that exist in Harvestella, there are some that stand out from the rest.
As Harvestella is a farming simulator game, it’s obvious that there will be tons of crops to collect. Each player will start with a small garden and a couple of Seeds given by some characters as well as two simple farming tools; Hoe to plow the earth and a Watering Can to water the soil. Later on, new tools will be added to the collection once travelers progress in the story of Harvestella.

All crops can give certain benefits to the players, but some have more advantages than others, which is the reason why it’s important to know what are the best crops to grow in Harvestella. Currently, the best crops to grow out of all of them are Carrop, Stellar Wheat, Nemean Tomato, and Tree Saplings. All can be purchased from General Stores scattered around the area.
As players progress through Harvestella, they’ll be able to raise Livestock like Woolums. As a result, Grass is crucial to create Woolums Feed on the Feed Maker. Feed Maker can be crafted using two Lumbers and two Rusty Metals. Do note that Grass can only make food for the Woolums, as the Cluffowls require Corn to make their Feed.

It’s better to buy Grass Seeds for 30 Grilla from the Lethe General Store than purchase one Woolums Feed for 100 Grilla from the traveling merchant. Another advantage Grass possesses is that it can be harvested in three seasons; Spring, Summer, and Fall.
Just like Grass Seeds in Harvestella, Morrocorn Seeds are better used as Livestock feed rather than shipping to earn Grilla. The seeds can be purchased from Lethe General Store for 230 Grilla. It is used in the Harvestella Feed Maker to make Cluffowls Feed, where one Morrocorn can produce four Feeds for the chicken.
The seeds can only grow in Summer and Fall in about four days. Players will have access immediately to Morrocorn, as it is in an early game area. So, it might be best to buy it for 230 Grilla and get multiple feeds rather than paying 100 Grilla at the traveling merchant and receiving only one.
Stellar Wheat is a precious crop that can be purchased as Seeds from the Lethe General Store. One bag of Seeds costs 40 Grilla and one Stellar Wheat is worth 55 Grilla.
The purpose of Stellar Wheat is not for earning Grilla but making Flour. Once players meet the Fire Faerie and complete three tasks from the Faerie Order, the Flour Mill becomes available for crafting. Three Stellar Wheat are required to make one bag of Flour.
Cucumble Seeds are the type that will take a while to grow but will stay even after harvesting. The seeds are a bit on the pricier side, but the shipment revenue is worth it. There are better options like Nemean Tomato Seeds or Unionion Seeds, but none has the same value as the Cucumble.

These seeds grow in Spring and need four to days to fully mature. The roots will stay in the soil for a while so that travelers can harvest Cucumble multiple times. Although it can be used in cooking recipes in Harvestella, shipping multiple Cucumbles is worth much more (200 Grilla).
Nemean Tomato Seeds cost 170 Grilla and can be bought from the General Store of Nemea Village. It is considered on the expensive side and the Nemean Tomato isn't worth that much, as one is sold for 65 Grilla.
However, there is an advantage to planting these harvestable. Unlike other crops in Harvestella, Nemean Tomato can be harvested multiple times making it a great crop to grow. Do note that it takes up to five days to mature and is only available in two seasons; Summer and Spring.
Just like seeds, players can purchase Saplings and plant them on the farm. This process will have both advantages and disadvantages. Upon a sapling fully grows and then starts bearing multiple fruits, it’s possible to harvest it for the entire season. It doesn't need watering or special care, and it won’t wither away in Quietus. Trees need approximately seven days to mature, each one grows in a specific season, and one tree can cost around 2,000 Grilla and sometimes 4,000.
Carrop Seeds can be bought from Lethe General Store and Nemea General Store. The former sells it for 105 Grilla while the latter for 95 Grilla. It’s advised to buy it from Nemea General Store as it is cheaper.
A batch of Carrop Seeds can grow in Spring and Summer, and it takes one day to grow. These harvestable are a great way to make Grilla in Harvestella, as one can be sold for 115 Grilla once put in the blue Shipping Box.
Harvestella is now available on PC and Nintendo Switch.
