Godlewski Campaign: It's National Agriculture Day, and Sarah Godlewski's got a comprehensive plan for rural Wisconsin – WisPolitics.com

MADISON – National Agriculture Day is a time to reflect on the important role that agriculture plays in providing our food, products, clothes, and more. Wisconsin has a long and proud history of farming — family farmers are the heart of every community throughout rural Wisconsin, yet family farms are still struggling and rural communities continue to disappear. Rural Wisconsin needs our support now more than ever, and Sarah Godlewski is the only candidate in this race who has rolled out a comprehensive plan to address the challenges facing rural and farming communities.
As a fifth-generation Wisconsinite with deep family roots in rural Wisconsin, Sarah knows firsthand the critical role that farming communities play in our society and the compounding challenges they face. That’s why the first policy paper of her 72-county campaign focused on bold proposals to ensure all Wisconsinites have access to the quality of life they deserve, no matter where they live. She also announced the endorsements of a coalition of rural community leaders, grassroots advocates, business owners, and two national rural organizations.
Sarah’s rural plan builds on this commitment and would make the challenges facing farming communities a top priority in the U.S. Senate. Sarah’s plan calls for:
