RDO Equipment shares the dealer’s view of automation following Deere’s introduction of the 8R fully autonomous system at the 2022 Consumer Electronics Show. In this 17-minute podcast, listeners hear of the things that can be done today to prepare for autonomous solutions tomorrow, which RDO defines as “just a couple of years away.” A good listen whether you are a green dealer, or one who’ll be preparing to sell “against” the system.
Precision Planting, John Deere, BASF in collaboration with Bosch, and Trimble in partnership with Horsch are all working on targeted spraying systems promising to slash farmers’ herbicide usage amid shortages. AgRally, America’s Live Farm Show will be broadcast March 22 on RFD-TV in celebration of AgDay. AgRally will begin at 2 p.m. EST and run through 5 p.m. EST on Tuesday, March 22. Farm Equipment was asked to present a special presentation on the outlook for electric-powered farm equipment, including details of an all-new study of growers, dealers and manufacturers.

No-Till Farmer prepared an impressive No-Till History Museum, featuring more than 2,000 square feet of 8×10-foot barnwood displays. The Museum, displayed at the 30th Annual National No-Tillage Conference in January at Louisville’s Galt House, is shown in a special online gallery.
