DEKALB Asgrow looking forward to offering new products in 2023 … – Iowa Agribusiness Network

With only a couple weeks in this year, there’s no better time to think about how to tackle next year’s growing season. Many companies are ready to help farmers with new and improved products, and DEKALB Asgrow is no different. Brian Green, DEKALB Asgrow technical agronomist, said they’ll have many new seed products with improved disease and drought tolerance.
Green said that one particularly exciting change is that all of their corn seed will be treated with Acceleron.
Green said using a combination of products is a strong strategy to prevent annual diseases like tar spot.
Although we are getting to the end of fall, Green said it’s still a good time to plan ahead for next year’s crop management.
Green added that they saw a lot of success battling corn rootworm with Bayer’s SmartStax PRO Technology, and they look forward to expanding upon that next year.
Bayer invests plenty of money in DEKALB Asgrow for new products and technology every year, so Green said farmers should keep in touch with their local dealers to stay at the forefront of agriculture.
