This complete guide to Atrio: The Dark World details how to set up your automated farming with the best results.
Atrio: The Dark Wild is a survival automation game that combines gameplay from games such as Factorio and Don't Starve. In Atrio: The Dark Wild, farming is crucial for feeding your fuel deposit. Depending on the energy type used to feed the fuel depot, you can produce more energy, allowing players to operate more electrical devices and enlighten their world.
Getting into farming in Atrio: The Dark Wild is a must because, at some point, your automation systems and your world, in general, will consume more fuel. You will eventually have to automate battery craft to keep your character alive.
Since Atrio: The Dark Wild is an automation game, you will need lots of automation systems, and shroom farming is one of them. Automating the shroom farming process is fairly easy; you just need to provide the required items to the Heartbox until you learn how to craft Bee Box, Water Pump, and Planter.
First, place your water pumps on the water and get pump water into the Planters with Grav Pipes. Then you can place your planters and select the type of recipe you want among the Red Shroom, Purp Shroom, Blue Shroom, Green Shroom, Cabbage, Soybean, and Potato.
Make sure you put Bee Box near the Planters, so you can also make Honey for the late game. You can put five to six planters per Tornatoad, as these animals can harvest crops six tiles away.
You might want to place five planters, so you can put Grav Pipes in front of Tornatoads to grab your shrooms.

Red Shroom
Red Shrooms allow you to craft a Red Battery, making you invincible to water damage. Station Four is full of water, making the Red Battery perfect to craft before exploring the area.
Purp Shroom
Purp shroom is crucial for your progression in your game. You can make a Purple Battery with it, which regenerates your health bar over time. You can also craft Shroom Fuel to feed your depot more powerfully.
Green Shroom
Green shroom allows you to protect your employee from toxic gasses and craft top-notch fuel. Station One – Deer Station is full of toxic gasses, making it impossible to survive out there. Craft Green Battery before exploring the area. You can also create Corrosive Paste, the best fuel in the game for your fuel expenses.
Cabbage, Soybean, and Potato
These plants allow you to craft canned foods you can not consume; they are required to beat the game. Afterward, you can turn them into a Vegetable Pack, Meal Kit, and then Survival Pack.
After you successfully archive to irrigate your planters, you can move to the next step, capturing Tornatoad. These animals live near the water and can be found near Iris Station – Station Four.
To capture the Tornatoad animal for your farm, you need to craft a Stun Bomb with two Blood Ingots, one Woozytears, and one Glowbulb. After crafting one or two and spotting a Tornatoad, you need to bait these creatures to swallow the Stun Bomb.
After this process, Tornatoad will become vulnerable, and you will be able to collect it easily. Tornatoad animals allow you to harvest fully grown shrooms automatically.
After you automate Purp Shroom, you might want to get into crafting Electrolyte Paste. You can combine Purp Shroom and Electrolyte Paste to craft Shroom Fuel. Shroom Fuel is used in feeding the fuel depot just like Glowblubs; however, it provides much more energy than Glowblub.
You can automate this operation with the Factory or Mini Deer animal. However, since the Factory path is more troublesome, you might want to stick with the Mini Deer solution.
To be able to craft Electrolyte Paste automatically, you need to capture Mini Deer. You then need a pickerpal setup for feeding Mini Deer with Electric Petal plants.
Mini Deer eating the Electric Petal plant will start to craft Electrolyte Paste, and you can change this recipe by clicking the deer. You can place a Factory setup that combines Purp Shroom and Electrolyte Paste for mass produce Shroom Fuel.
You can find deer in your spawn location and capture these charming creatures. You'll need Deer Trap or Stun Bomb, yet Stun Bomb is a more convenient way to do it.
After spotting the deer, place your Stun Bomb in front of it and make them run toward it. After the deer come close to the Stun Bomb, you can detonate it by hitting the dedicated detonate key.
Then collect the stunned deer from the ground and make them craft for you; how cruel.
