BURKE, VA — Local residents will continue to find farmers market offerings around the winter holidays at the Burke Farmers Market. According to the Fairfax County Park Authority, the farmers market is one of three extended into December.
The Burke Farmers Market, located at the Burke Centre VRE Station parking lot at 5671 Roberts Parkway in Burke, will be open through Saturday, Dec. 17. The farmers market is open Saturdays from 8 a.m. to noon.
Other park authority-run farmers markets open in December are Reston Farmers Market through Dec. 3 and the McCutcheon/Mount Vernon Farmers Market through Dec. 21.
During the extended season, the farmers market will have new vendors offering various prepared foods. Other vendors will continue to offer products like winter squash, greens, apples, breads, meats and more.
