Trends take over TikTok almost every week, and the latest to take the platform by storm is the Paper Cow. Made, as the name suggests, out of paper, the little cow figure has gone viral.
People all over the app have made their own Paper Cows, and have even created accounts for their Paper Cow “pets”.
Similar to dolls or action figures, TikTok users have been dressing up their cows, building them houses, and making accessories for them.

The Paper Cow trend has gone viral on TikTok, and the hashtag #papercow has 43.5 million views at the time of writing.
Essentially, the Paper Cows are like paper dolls.
Each Paper Cow looks similar- they are cartoonish and stood upright rather than on four legs, but users have personalised them and created personalities, outfits, and hairstyles for their cows.
Users have even made accounts for their paper cows, with some, such as @bellathepapercow, gathering around 25 thousand followers.
Anyone can make a paper cow- simply draw it on paper, and laminate it- or cover it with sticky tape if you do not have a laminator.
One reason the Paper Cow trend has taken off is because when making things out of paper, the world is your oyster.
Many users have created paper houses for their paper pets, with wardrobes and plenty of outfits.
To make clothes for your paper cow, simply lay the cow on a flat surface and place a piece of plain white paper over the top.
If you cannot see through to the cow underneath, stick it up on a window so the light will shine through and you can trace the outline more easily.
Draw the clothing you want to make for your cow, making sure to use the outline of the cow to draw clothes that will fit.
Cut your outfit out of the paper, colour it in, laminate it, and there you go! A new item of clothing for your fashionable Paper Cow.
